West Coast Cross Docking
Cold Storage · Cross-Dock · 3PL
We handle cold storage, cross-docking, and 3PL warehousing for produce and temperature-sensitive freight moving through Western Canada — for logistics providers, brokers, importers, and distributors who need certified capacity here without running a facility of their own.
Commodities & holding temperatures
From a −18 °C freezer through three separately controlled coolers to ambient dry storage. Each commodity carries its own requirement, and the margin for error is narrow.
Ranges shown are typical holding targets. We hold to the temperature your program specifies. Pulp temperatures and trailer conditions are recorded at receiving and again at loading, so the cold chain is documented rather than assumed.
Services
Loads are inspected and verified on arrival. Product is temperature-checked, QC'd, graded, and re-graded where needed across chilled, frozen, and ambient.
Container de-stuffing and same-facility transfer to outbound, without the product sitting longer than it needs to.
Orders built and staged to each DC's stated specification, including Walmart and Costco. A rejected load is expensive for everyone in the chain, so we treat the spec as the job.
Three separately controlled coolers plus a freezer, with blast-freeze capability and continuous monitoring throughout.
Inventory management and outbound shipping coordination, run as either standalone Western Canada capacity or overflow alongside an arrangement you already have.
30 ft clear height across the ambient warehouse, with three dedicated docks for dry freight.
How We Work
Two different jobs, depending on whether you own the freight or move it for someone else. Both come down to the same thing: product arriving in the condition it left, and orders that aren't rejected at the far end.

Fresh-harvested product arrives and is received against your grade standard, with pulp temperatures taken and recorded before anything leaves the trailer. This first-phase QC exists to answer one question: did the product hold its quality in transit? Anything outside spec is documented and flagged to you the same day, not absorbed into the lot and discovered later.
When a lot doesn't hold up — and over a long transit it sometimes doesn't — we don't just report the problem back to you. Our team inspects and re-grades carton by carton, case by case, separating what still meets spec from what doesn't. A load that would otherwise be written off whole often has good product in it, and recovering that is worth the labour. You get the count, the condition, and the photos, and you decide what happens next.
Product then moves into the cooler or freezer at your specified temperature under continuous monitoring. From there we build retail and DC-compliant orders daily — pallet tie and height, label placement, pallet type, and mixed-SKU rules to each receiver's stated specification.
Before anything ships, a final QC pass checks the order against destination requirements, because the point is that the load isn't rejected at the DC door. We inspect the carrier's trailer on arrival too: pre-cool, cleanliness, and condition, since a compliant order in a poor trailer is still a rejected order.
Orders reach us from you directly, or from your broker with the documentation attached — and we can prepare the paperwork ourselves if that's simpler. We set this up around how you already work rather than asking you to change.
Everything runs through our own warehouse management system, and traceability runs on lots: the lot that arrives inbound is the lot we ship out. A QC report goes to you before end of day on every inbound load, and inventory is updated daily. If a load fails QC on arrival we tell you immediately and wait for your instructions — it's your product, and that call is yours to make.

Inbound loads are QC'd and received on arrival, including drayage containers direct from the Port of Vancouver. Floor-loaded containers are de-stuffed and palletized to your client's specification rather than a generic build, so what leaves our dock is already in the format the destination expects.
From there it goes one of two ways: straight across the dock for same-day outbound transfer, or into temperature-controlled storage until release. Either way, product is held at the right temperature for the time it's with us — 12 docks, nine serving the coolers and freezer directly, so cold freight never waits on an ambient dock.
Outbound orders are staged and shipped to the receiving facility's compliance requirements, with temperatures verified and documented at loading.
Loads are tracked in our own warehouse management system, with a QC report on every inbound load before end of day and daily inventory updates, so you can answer your client before they ask.
Your client sees a clean delivery; you don't get the call.
